In his very first story for the kindle library, friends Bobby, Timmy and Kate plan to get something nice for their teacher's birthday. The whole class has planned to decorate a room and surprise Mrs. Ruby with some treats and an assortment of gifts for her. Katie says that she likes jewelry and that is what they could buy for her.
That sounds like a good plan for the boys, but Bobby soon finds out that he doesn't have enough money to get something like that. He can't ask his father for any more money since his allowance has already been spent. It now has to be something that doesn't cost too much, but when he sees all of the nice presents at school he feels embarrassed with his gift.
His worst fears are realized when his teacher asks what he has brought her...
